2009 Extraordinary Woman of the Year
2009 Extraordinary Woman of the YearKaren was named the 2009 Extraordinary Woman of the Year at the EWomen Conference in Roanoke. This award took Karen completely by surprise and she was humbly awed at receiving it!
"What makes any of us extraordinary," Karen said as she accepted her award, "is that we have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who loves us more than we could ever imagine."

2007 Best Book of the Year
Karen Kingsbury was the winner of the 2007 Evangelical Book of the Year for her novel, Ever After. It was the first time ever this prize went to a woman and the first time ever the work was that of fiction.
