Wow, that sounds even more amazing. I'm studying for exams too so I don't have much time either. If I do get to write it's usually only for 5 minutes so not long enough to create a novel in.
I would definitely buy it if it went on sale.

yeah well it needs to be finished first. but my novel started coming together in the 5 minutes breaks I got when revising in June last year.

1Jesusfreak,
How many of Karen's books have you read? My cousin is 14 and I think she would benefit from Karen Kingsbury but I don't know which one she should read.
I am definitely praying for you and your work in progress. God bless.

I have read 5 of her books in the last fortnight of discovering her. Yeh, i am absolutely reccommending her books to all my friends, and they mainly seem fine for our age-group. I read 'the other side' first and was hooked from that. I have also read 'divine', 'take one' and 'take two', 'fame' and just starting one about a dandeline
Thanks heaps!

I've started writing a novel similar to Swiss Family Robinson and Robinson Crusoe...
I've also written a diary based on the Oregon Trail and am hoping to do one on the Irish Potato Famine.
Ideas for the stories come easy, but actually writing them is a whole bunch harder!

i agree BatZion, i have about 20 ideas for books but I have only written 9 chapters on one book and nothing on the rest. it comes given time.

And even when you are trying to think of something to write, your head spins and you forget all your previous ideas! It sucks so bad. In new Zealand we have our long summer holidays at the moment and i have lots of time but i cant think of anything to write about. If someone has an idea i could use, that would be awesome! ![]()

well there are a whole boat full of ideas waiting for you to write about. it could be a story of travelling the world in search of the right job God wants you to do or something like that.

hmm thats not a bad idea, actually straight away i can think of a few things to do with that... : D yeh ill try it, and let you know if something starts happening. Thanks Amanda! ![]()

I would write about a missionary serving in Guatemala and all the struggles and dangers he/she would have to face. If it were a guy I'd probably name him Nathan and if I wrote about a girl I'd probably name her Anna.

I'd like to write a book that includes the historical character Ned Kelly...

Interesting BatZion. Would the story be historical like the character?
Offline
Yea, I guess it would... I haven't really thought too deeply on it...

lol. Sometimes the best books/novels aren't deeply thought about.
