Beyond Tuesday Morning Reader Reviews
Review by Melissa Murphey, January 11, 2012
Beyond Tuesday Morning was the first Karen Kingsbury book I had read. I am 42 and I think the last book I read was probably at least 10 years ago! I was completely captivated by this story. I felt like I was there reliving those aweful days after 9/11 and found myself not only rooting for the characters in the story to find love, peace, & faith found only in the Lord, but I was also praying for the real victims, their families and our country. It is true what they say, "Karen Kingbury writes Life Changing Fiction." What an inspiration! God has truly given her a beautiful gift and I'm so glad she is using it for the glory of our Lord! Thank you, Karen for inspiring me in my relationship with Christ, giving me courage to witness more boldly, and to find the joy in reading again!

So...I'm back to tell you what I thought about the next book in the 9/11 series, Beyond Tuesday Morning. I loved this book! It was so sweet, everything about it! Mrs. Kingsbury really has a great gift for writing. It only took me two days to read this book, because I loved it so much. I smiled and laughed and was choked up throughout it. The only bad thing is... that it ended.
I loved how the characters' relationships developed, but at times, it was heartbreaking. I can't wait to check out the third, and final book, Every Now and Then, in this series. It almost chokes me up...thinking about reading the last one. I wish there was a fourth book!
I am so gald that Mrs. Kingsbury writes these books with the name God mentioned in them. We need more Christian authors in America. I am so very glad that Mrs. Kingsbury is one of those Christian authors. Thank you Mrs. Kingsbury, for making me feel part of Jamie Brian's life and for also letting me see that no matter what...God is always with us. No matter what!

I loved this book. It was the best ending of all. Each time I read one book of the series, the next got better. I love how Karen makes the books really interesting. Once you start one of her books. You can not put it down.

BRAVO!! How wonderful that Karen continued the story of Jamie and Sierra, Eric and Laura and Clay. I found myself recounting the plot to my husband as if I was talking about friends! I LOVE to read and find that I am a diffcult critic, but these books pass the test with flying colors. The characters, the plot, the dialogue, and most importantly-the message of the gospel delivered so smartly make Karen Kingsbury one of the best authors I have ever had the pleasure of reading! I can't wait to dive in to some of her other books.

When I finished One Tuesday Morning, I only hoped that we would get a glimpse of Jamie a Sierra's future. I have to admit that it was heartbreaking that Eric and Jamie had completely broken contact because they came to the Lord leaning on each other. The fact that Jamie fell in love with Clay Michaels is amazing though and a great story line! I always think about Christian fiction and think that story lines that are written and have God's power woven within them supporting the whole story are way better and soul uplifting then a story that has the devil woven within it's story line! Well, Beyond Tuesday Morning is truly remarkable and a great comfort to those affected by 9/11 or even another tragedy that you have needed God's support for grieving and a little push to CHOOSE LIFE!

These were 2 of the best books I have ever read. I would like for it to have continued with Jamie & Clay after they were married and also the other characters such as Wanda & Joe and the rest. A friend that goes to church with me bought these books & shared them with me. We were teased quite a bit from our husbands about reading all the time but they were books that you just could not put down. I did not think that there could be a better book than Fireproof but I really believe that these 2 books were even better.

I completely loved this book! I couldn't get enough of it. My husband wanted me to put it down and spend time with him, so I promised I would once I finished! I wish the story would keep going with Jamie and Eric. It was hard to end the book, knowing that we wouldn't get more stories about them. I loved their faith in God and all the positive outlooks in life! It would be great if you could continue the stories with her friend that lost her husband too and maybe bringing Eric and Jamie back! You know it's a great book when your eyes are full of tears and joy!

I have read so many of Karen's books/series and I have never been more inspired than I was with this series. I cried, laughed and at the end my husband asked me if it was my favorite so far because he never saw me put it (them) down. I went back through and looked up so many of the scriptures and read them for myself in the Bible. I can say I came away with more than a good book from this series.
