Some years ago I read the Baxter serie and fell in love with the family. Each page talked to me and made me listen - maybe God was talking to me too - eventhough I do not have a Christian upbringing. Then, when I started listening to the "Above the Line" series on audio, I almost started crying - it was like seeing my family again - the way the people are described, and the way God works, make me feel like I know all of them and love them. Thank you so much!

The book was intriguing and keep my interest. I enjoyed the series but like you said in the end of the book- I wonder about Cody, Bailey and Brandon. I am enjoyed that you dealt with the emotional aspect of adoption along with the struggle that the birthmother goes through. My husband and I are in the process of adopting and I rarely forget how hard and what an emotional struggle it has to be for the birthmother. Thanks for detailing that in your book.

Takle 4 was so beautiful and well written. I cried and cried last night. I was ao happy that Andi gave her baby to Luke and Reagan, but so sad for her and her parents. I have two little boys and my husband and I have talked about adopting. Looking forward to the new series and Unlocked.

I am reading Take Four and I'm almost done. To be honest, I am struggling getting through it. The Bailey/Cody story line is one of my favorite parts of this series, but it is dragging on and on. They continue to have the same issues...not sharing their lives with each other, which is frustrating since they are supposed to be so 'in love.' The Brandon Paul character is too much like Dayne was and is very predictable. I guess I am somewhat disappointed.

I just finished reading Take 4 and what a good book, I too found myself pregant while in college, it changed my life forever, I ended up keeping my daughter and raising her by myself, very difficult I was only 19 but as I look back 35 years later I would not have done it any other way, as Ali went thru her difficult decisons I wept with her and wanted to just reach out and hold her, comfort her, but that is what God did for her, and Bailey what an example to our youth today, I think every young girls should read this series I think they would stop and think before doing some of the sinful ways our youth seem to be doing, wonderful book Karen, cant wait till Oct for the next book, please keep them coming, may God bless you and your family .

I have read each one of your books. I have every new one on order at my library and it's such a treat every time they let me know my reserved book is in! I picked up Take Four yesterday morning and finished it today! I didn't get much done. I couldn't put it down! I cried along with Andi and her parents. Bailey is such a strong Christian and what an influence to all of us! I am always challanged to be a better wife, mother, daughter and sister when I am in the depths of your novels! It's fun to take a peak into your family as I walk with the Flannigans and Baxters. Keep them coming! I can't wait for Unlocked and Leaving. Hurry! My prayers are with you as you write the stories that will change the hearts and encourage the hearts of so many people. God bless you and yours.

I just finished Take Four from the Above the Line series. Talk about awesome!!! I have all your books and I just can't get enough. I sign up at my library as soon as I hear a new one is coming out. That way as soon as they get it I first in line. But wow! I cried when Andi gave the baby away. What a total act of love. Can't wait for Bailey's series. To see what happens in her and Cody's life. Please keep the books coming. Other than my bible your my favorite read.

This book as usual was wonderful. I am sad that this series has to end but I am looking forwarrd to d reading the Baliey series. I can truly relate to the characters of this book because I have had many friends that were unwed and gave their baby up for adoption. I can also sympathize with Bailey because she knows that Cody really does love her and she wants to be with him no matter what the cost in her life.

This is my favorite series so far! Thank you, Karen, for making it so real. Although I've had tears in my eyes in other books, I was literally crying at the end of this one! From sadness with Cody and Bailey, to joy with Brandon, to the pain of having to give up a child. My tears wouldn't stop! This one hit so close to home for me on different levels. I am grateful that Christ is there to carry me through those tough times, and shepherd me when it seems I can't find my way.
