Longing

Book 3 in the Bailey Flanigan Series!

Longing, book three in the Bailey Flanigan Series, picks up where Learning ended. After a long and lonely silence from Cody Coleman, Bailey Flanigan becomes closer to her one-time Hollywood co-star, Brandon Paul. Nights on the town in New York City and long talks on the balcony of Brandon's Malibu Beach home make Bailey dizzy with new feelings and cause her to wonder if her days with Cody are over forever.

Meanwhile, Cody's work coaching a small-town football team has brought him and his players national attention. In the midst of the celebration and success, Cody finds himself much closer to a woman who seems to better understand him and his new life. Even so, never does much time go by without Bailey and Cody experiencing deep feelings of longing for each other, longing both for the past and for answers before they can move forward. Will an unexpected loss be the turning point for Cody? Will Cody and Bailey find a way back together again for the first time in more than a year? And if they do, will their brief time together be enough to help them remember all they've been longing for?

Review by Rose M. Brimmer, March 28, 2012

One day while grocery shopping, I made my regular stop in the book section. I happened to pick up my 1st book by Karen (longing). I've never been the kind of reader that read the introduction and all the other stuff that talks about the aurthor. I read the 1st chapter and couldn't put it down. I stayed up all night reading the book just to come to the end and find out I had just read book 3 of 4. I paid my daughter 50 buck to go to the book store and collect the other 3 parts of the set. When she returned, she had 1 and 2 but I had to wait 2 weeks for book 4. I read 1 Leaving and 2 Learning and Oceans Apart and was amazed at how I found myself speed reading to get to the next page. I waited 3 days for Loving to be released. I had already pre-order my book on my  kindle to be released March 27. I set my alarm for 3 a.m to check my kindle and there it was. I completed the book before 3 a.m the next day with a full time job. I have never been able to complete any book in a week let alone a day. Karen is annointed there's no doubt about it. Since finishing Loving I have started reading Shade of Blue and I also purchased 20 more book by Karen. Thanks Karen for helping me start a good habit of reading Great Books replacing a bad habit of spend hours in front to the televisions set that has all the worldly junk on every channel.
