Loving Reader Reviews

I loved the Bailey Flanigan series so much. It speak of pure, true love, the way God intended. From this book I'm committed to pray from now for my baby girl, that she will find the kind of love described here. I love the story because it relates to our time here in this generation and its given me some pointers on how I can be a more effective witness. God bless you Karen Kingsbury

I loved these books so much! I am fourteen and they have really helped me grow in my faith and I loved how I could relate to Bailey especially in the Baxter family series because she was close to my age! Thank you and can't wait to read more of your books!

I have read a lot of your books and have thoroughly enjoyed them. The Baxter series was amazing. The christian lessons and teachings you have encorporated into these books are excellent. I feel I have learned so much in your books regarding real life issues and in being a better christian. There have been so much in your books that have made me really think. Thank you!!

Karen your a voice from heaven for this generation that has lost so much value for God. Your books are really so inspiring, whenever I read any of your books I actually visualise what the character are doing, I see myself in their midst. Your wetting is very powerful and highly inspiring with characters like Bailey, Katy, Dayne...Reading your books blesses me so much. The Lord will give you more inspiration. It will be wonderful having your books as films.

I have been reading your books since I was in intermediate (NZ equivalent to middle school) and feel as if I have grown up with Bailey. In each story, we're the same age, and going through somewhat similar things. These series are a huge part of what made me feel so strongly to save myself for marriage. Bailey's convictions have been so similar to my own, and I feel as if she's a friend I've had for a long time. My husband doesn't seem to understand how your books make me laugh and cry - I think he finds it a bit comical. But he is a man of God, so strongly convicted by Him. And I feel so blessed. I have to say a humungous thank you to you, Karen, for following God to create such an amazing series. Although my husband is my first love, and I was blessed enough to have that, he also looks STRIKINGLY like Brandon. So while I was Team Cody, I could accept Brandon as Bailey's forever love, knowing, although looks don't make a person a person, it was a little bit like my own hubby was chosen, in the end. (I wouldn't trade my husband in for the world. So if Bailey feels the way I do about my own husband, then Brandon is completely and utterly the one for her.) I know it's important to keep Kelsey and Kyle's lives separate from your stories, so I do pray that one day you may be able to continue Andi and Cody's story, or Bailey and Brandon's story, purely as the characters they are. You create such beautifully crafted stories! Thank you again! P.S. (I share your books with many people, here in New Zealand. Even non-believer friends have been so drawn in by your wonderful books. All glory to God!) P.P.S. (Even though my husband gives me a lot of grief about your books, every birthday and Christmas, I receive your latest book, in full knowledge that the book will be devoured in a matter of a few hours.)

I was introduce to your books by a friend back on December 2011 I started with your Redemtion series and I fall in love that I read all the books from the following series until I just finished Loving (which I waited 4 weeks for my local library to get it!) I had to say that I feel like I know all your characters, cry, laugh, feel the sorrow, embrace hope all of that and in the deepest ofm y heart I was hoping that Cody would find his way to Bailey, either way I love them all!! God continue to bless you and inspire you to keep writing so lives can be change and bring Glory ad Honor to HIM. Thank you can´t wait to the next one!!

Karen I was introduced to your books when I got newly married in 2006 and I was always home and lonely and it was a great time for me. I have read The Redemption Series, Firstborn Series, Sunrise Series, Above the line Series and many Stand alones, like, Unlocked and many more, I love you , I love your books, Right now i just called my bookshop to confirm the availability of the Bailey Flanigan Series and am so exicited, though they have just the first two books i.e Leaving and Learning, you know what? I have to use my break period to dash to the book store to get the books, woohoo can't wait to delve into them, Thank God for using you in such a great way.

I truly love your books. They comfort me when I'm struggling and they give me hope. Your books have brought me closer to my mom, who has been reading them along with me. We discuss them, praise them and complain about them too! :) Especially this last one. I believe we both re-wrote your book for you as we read it. Yes, Bailey was good for Brandon and vice versa. Bailey was good for Cody and vice versa. Bailey was good for Andi and vice versa. Brandon did persue Bailey like a dying man in the desert...unlike Cody who ran away every time he thought he was putting her in harms way. However, what did Bailey do as soon as she got scared. She ran! I believe this should've opened her eyes to why Cody ran. So yes, we are happy for Bailey and Brandon and their fairytale ending. However, Cody should've been taking Ryan's place at Clear Creek..........Brandon and Andi already lived in California. That was doable. Can't wait for your next book in June though! Love ya!

I have read many of your books and absolutely loved them! I have followed the Baxter series and have clung to the Bailey series, loving the stories of every character. I finished Longing awhile back and waited desperately for Loving to come out, I finally bought it last week, it took me two days and I finished it yesterday! I loved it, and the amazing story of Bailey and her finding her forever love! I look forward to reading Coming Home. Your books have made me laugh and cry all the way through. When some of the characters have been in times of trial and have heard a verse from God, I have felt the verses speak to me personally. Thank-you Karen for your books. Thank-you for these stories. I thought to myself how sad I will be as I have finished Bailey's story and you've finished the Baxter series. Love to you and your family.
