Found Reader Reviews
Review by Helga, February 1, 2012
Found was the first book from the Firstborn series that I've read. The next book was Family and then Forever. I've also read Take Four. None of the other in the series because we do not get lal of the books in one series, or in order. Now I'm busy with Leaving and then I will begin Longing. BUT they are amazing. All the local writters will have to wait. I'm only buying KK books.

This book is great and it shows God's constant love for us. I was really touched, I cried and laughed at the same time. This book is so real. Keep up the good work!

I love Christian Fiction and read a lot of them but Karen Kingsbury's Baxter Family Drama - First born series (the first of her books that I have ever read) has taken me overboard. I can't believe I read Fame, Forgiven and Found in less than two weeks. I can say I read at a normal pace (say it takes me 5 days to read a book) but with the first born series, I practically couldn't wait to finish one before moving to the other. In fact I want to read the Baxters' story from the redemption series but I have not seen any of the redemption series and Forever is not available in bookshops around me for now. I am reading Family slowly now so I don't have to pause in between books as I am yet to buy Forever. There are many lessons to be learnt from the Baxter Family. In addition, the power of prayer cannot be over-emphasized in these books. Just as the scriptures say that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. Weldone Karen. You know, the truths in these stories though fiction are realistic and practicable. They deal with real life situation as it does happen. Not exagerated or undermined. Again I pray that God will continue to use you to pen down this fictitious stories (which contain home truths)so we can apply them to our lives and learn lessons from them. I was inspired reading those books and I am going to try buy all the 14 books in the Baxter Family Drama series.

This has been one of the most touching books, it has tranformed my life. I have to save-n-forgo my lunches, just so that I can purchase your books. I love them and I'm about to complete the "Firstborn" series, although they are becoming harder and harder for me to purchase, but I believe God will provide!

When I read fame and forgiven, I was overwhelmed. So reading FOUND made me happy. I come from a country where one can hardly see the book to buy. So I will try to get the others. Besides, I am a secondary school student. Karen, MAY GOD ALMIGHTY BLESS YOU. YOU ARE LIKE A BLESSING TO ME. THESE BOOKS ARE AWESOME. SHALOM!

Having read Forgiven, I was glad to read Found as Dayne surrendered his life to the Lord. I was also inspired by the Baxter family and realized the power of prayer. Highly recommended to all who need that push or step of faith to make that commitment. Its much better if you read Forgiven then Found. Am now looking forward to finding and reading -Family; to see how Katy's life turns out

This is the best book, in my opinion, by Karen Kingsbury that I have ever read! I cried so hard on it.

Honestly,I had never read any of the books until I picked up this as an audio book. I laughed and cried through the whole thing. I can't wait to read/hear what happens next. I don't think I will be able to get enough. Thank you.

Karen Kingsbury you are amazing, absolutley amazing. I have no idea how in the world you could've written that book. To have so much going on in the book to keep me up till midnight reading (more than once!) is quite an acomplishment :P Anyway. I do not know how you do it! I think if I was writing books as amazing as that I wouldn't be able to sleep with all the love and care and emotions of the characters running through my head. Love your books (DONT EVER STOP!) Sincerely, A Big Fan. P.S. All my friends that have read the stories of the Baxter's love them! My friend Jessica is now venturing into more of your series!
