I have no words to describe this book, it was Fantastic, amazing & so powerful. I could not leave this book for a second. I read it in 3days so thats almost true. It was a wonderful story and I have learned a great deal from it. I was constantly crying, used a box tissues, my mom couldn't understand why, until one day when she decided to read the book. Karen, May our God richly bless you & May there be many more novels. God Bless!

This was one of my favorite books. I could not put it down and when I was done my eyes where all red. Karen has made me feel like there is more to life then we think there is. After reading any of her books it just makes me want to go out and do some thing nice. Karnes books have made me get closer to the Lord. She is an awesome writer and I love reading her books. Halfway to forever will make you cry till the end.

This is an excellent book. The research into the side effects of chemotherapy was well done. It helped me put myself in a friend's shoes, whom is going through chemotherapy.

I told my wife early on that I would not be reading other books in this series, but guess what? - I will. I just finished Halfway to Heaven. And with four wet tissues in my lap, I want you to know that your writing touched me in many ways. Written words will never replace the spoken words we need to say to those we hold dear to our hearts. So I am asking God right now to give me the courage and heart to say more, to show appreciation more, and to leave people I love with something to cherish when I walk away from them. I can also leave notes or journals that will be meaningful in days to come. This is especially true of my family, but also true for my many friends, and associates. As each day passes, I realize that at age 76, my mortal days on earth cannot be long, but eternity with God and those that call his son Savior is forever. So, "This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it."

What a wonderful book. I felt as though the characters were part of my family. I laughed, cried, and celebrated along with them....Just when I think Karen can't outdo herself she does!! My only wish is that she could write as quickly as I read her novels...I anxiously wait for the next arrival.

Absolutely Beautiful, but make sure you are alone and have 3 boxes of tissues! It's a wonderful story and shows the whole range of emotions of pain, anger, hurt, grief and eventual trust and faith. It shows how God can take these emotions and turn them into his Glory, he takes imperfect humans and accepts and loves them despite our failure and lack of faith. I love it, and am sure God inspired you to write these books to help struggling human beings accept their shortcomings while still seeking the Lord in their life. God Bless You, Karen!
