I can not say enough about this book. I was drawn in from the first page. I have never read a book written by Karen Kingsburg, but I am a fan forever. The way Christ is written into the book is so inspiring. Even Now had everything a book shoud, saddness, anger, hope, peace, forgiveness, and most of all our Lord. I can't wait to read more.

I've just finished reading Even Now... I have tears in my eyes AND a smile on my face, because it was just soooo beautiful! The storyline captivated me from page one, and although I wanted to read as fast as possible to find out what happens to the characters, I wanted to read slower because I didn't want the story to end... I became so entwined with the unique characters, especially Lauren, Shane and Emily, that I didn't want to let them go. Needless to say, I’ve reached the last page and after good giggles and many tears I've finished the book. I would love all my friends to read it... It has enriched my life and strengthened my faith in God. P.S. I’ve read the book in Afrikaans, one of South Africa’s 11 official languages, and I have to congratulate everyone who was responsible for the translation. My beautiful language came to its right and it was a joy reading an Afrikaans book without spelling errors. Thank you!!!

I just finished reading this book. I got so hooked with it that I finished in just six days!!! These days we are living are really hard and books like this one fills everyone who read it with faith and hope. Thanks for sharing these feelings with us. I will be reading the next one (Even After) to know what happened with Shane, Lauren and Emily.

This was so life touching. I can wait to get the next book in this series.

From the beginning to the end, this book was captivating, intense and unpredictable. Karen's style of writing gives hope that the counsel of God, can and is, being declared unashamed. The power of forgiveness, and the peace it brings to both parties, was powerfully put. Again, how the child can be brought up in the way of God was made to look so easy in the life of Lauren, even though she had temporary setbacks, as did Emily. God bess Karen and her Ministry. Keep writing Karen, you are touching lives more than you will ever know.

I just finished reading Even Now and had tears all throughout the last half of the book. Thank you for your warm sensitive writing about real life situations.  My husband hasn't seen his 39 year-old daughter since she was 18 months old which has been painfully heart-breaking.  Due to a painful divorce at that time, the mom poisoned the girl's mind as she grew and has never changed wanting to see her father.

Does anyone know where I can find a Shane or Justin? I love these guys!!! They are so sweet and caring. I'm pretty jealous of Lauren and Emily, pretty funny huh!

I just finished Even Now last night. I think this would be a very good book on the A list for pre-teens. The consequences of having sex outside of marriage needs to be real to those toying with the idea. I also loved the display of faith in this book.

Even Now was a kind of story that when you read it its like the events are happening in real life. Karen Kingsbury put the characters into action as if they were real people.
