Someday Reader Reviews
Review by Dana Taormina, March 1, 2009
I just finished this book last night, and I was completely on edge from about the 9th chapter and on! Not only was the plot captivating and exhilerating, but I felt the presence of God and felt as though reading each page gave more and more glimpses to the grace and miraculous power of God. Karen Kingsbury, you are an amazing and talented author. I am so blessed every time that that I finish one of your books. I am so wrapped up in the Baxter family and especially Dayne and Katy!!

This book, compelled with the temptations and everyday struggles we go through, overcome by the power of Jesus, shows us that even in the darkest hour, from the death of a baby, to the greatest time, when we trust in Jesus, that He is in control and we must give all our strength to Him, or we are nothing. Trust in Him, and Jesus will never fail you.

I have enjoyed every book in this series and don't know how Karen can let it end. I was thinking about maybe letting the next set center around the Flanigans. Maybe Bailey as she strugles in college to keep her purity and having a boy break her heart and then finding her way back to Cody. And maybe Cody coming back from the war with issues. I can't stand the thought of having to read a blog to keep up with Katy's Baby and the rest of CKT. Please reconsider ending this.

I keep reading the end of this one over and over catching new thoughts each time I do. I have enjoyed all of the books in this series. Can't wait until Sunset comes out.

I have absolutely loved this entire 3 set series with the Baxters. It is unbelivable how much they face and come out stronger. I am sad to see the series end, but have found new hope in the blog that will be started to keep us updated. I had a thought also, it would be totally awesome if there was a way to incorporate these series into a movie or a series of movies. May God continue to bless those who read these books.

This book was so powerful and so captivating that it felt like I was really there. Never have I experienced the grace of God in the way that I do when reading your books.

I love this family! I read this book in one day while riding in the car from Ft. Lauderdale FL to Pittsburgh PA. Well, I finished it around Charlotte, NC! Can't wait for Sunset but then again, I don't want these books to end!! Let's do another series but start it when the baxter cousins are older!!!!

This book was so good. I couldn't get my nose out of it. I was reading it everyday. I was so happy when I found out what happened in the end. Thanks for writing these, Karen!

I loved Someday. I got into Karen Kingsbury's books a couple of Christmases ago when my aunt got the Redemption series as a gift. As soon as I could I got to a Bible bookstore and got all the books for myself. I think for me that Someday taught me so many things. As a single person one thing that will stay with me forever is that you have to make sure that you keep God in the center of your marriage and that communication between a husband and wife is very important in a marriage.

I really enjoyed reading Someday. I really enjoyed the way that Brooke and Ashley were able to work together to do something wonderful in Sarah's name. I also loved the ending how Ashley was able to see the impact of Sarah's life on her borthes and sisters (and their spouses.) I am looking forward to reading Sunset! I am going to miss this series when it ends!
