I have read every book in the kingsbury collection. Until now, "Ever After" was my favorite, but this hits home in a way that makes me reconsider my priorities...keep them coming Karen. I can hardly wait for your next book!

When I got a hold of, A Time to Embrace, my life changed. It related to my own life in so many ways, I started crying within the first five pages. You see, living in a small town in Iowa can be very tough--especially when both of your parents are teachers. My mother teaches at a Catholic Elementary School. My father on the other hand teaches at the high school and is the Head Varsity Football Coach. He has been coaching there for over 20 years, and he went through all of the hate letters from parents this year, just as Coach Reynolds did. If watching my father beat himself up about everything isn’t bad enough, when firing him didn’t work, the parents went after my older brother. It was his senior year this year, but he didn’t get to finish the season as hopped. The parents came up with ridiculous things that he had done, so he had to sit his senior year on the bench. Our family was falling apart with every passing day of the season. Not everyone in my family has the same strong faith as me. But knowing that God is there to help, I knew we would get through this. Seeing Coach Reynolds fight through even bigger upsets in his life, I knew my father could do it with the support of us, his family. I would just like to thank Karen for all of her wonderful books that keep people like me fighting for one more day with God…………….

Wow! I recently bought this book, and just loved it! Both books in this series were just awesome! Another example of God's awesome faithfulness to His covenant children! Thanks for writing great books Karen!

I've read both books, and could not put them down. I enjoyed both books so much. So many times you see marriages fall apart because people just simply give up. However these books give me hope that an actual true, life long love actually exists.

It is the week of my 31st birthday and my husband of nearly 11 months, slipped out the morning of my B-Day and brought me a bouquet of Fall flowers, this book and a beautiful card... I love to read but this is the first Karen Kingsbury I have ever encountered and I finished it in 3 days! I cried and laughed and practically had to tape the end of the book closed so that I wouldn't cheat and skip to the end... I know it's a bit backward but my "Bear" has ordered A Time to Dance for me and I can't wait to read about the events that gave birth to A Time to Embrace! I am fairly certain that I will be reading everything I can find from Karen - can someone pass the tissues??? :-)

This book was amazing!!! I read it in two days all the way crying, laughing, and fearful for the characters! This book is another reminder that miracles can and do happen every day. I hope to see Abby, John, Matt, Nicole, Jo and Denny in another story! Thanks for a great read.

I have read both the books in this series. And I truly found the books amazing. They were filled with so many different emotions, I laughed, I cried, and at times I felt their fear. I honestly look forward to another book about these characters in this series. I couldn't put these books down and I know it will be the same with the 3rd book when it comes out so I just want to say thank you for writing this book Mrs. Kingsbury
