This was by far the best book I have read of yours. And I have read almost all of them. I am blessed to still have both my parents, but I dread the day that I don't. Thank you so much for writing what GOD wants you to write! We are all so blessed to have you in our homes everytime we read your books.

I absolutely loved this book. I could relate so well to it and all that was going on in each of the siblings lives. My best friend also could relate because of the situation with the father in this book. I would read five to six chapters each night. I could not wait to get home from work so I could read some more. I suggest to everyone to read Karen Kingbury's books! Three of my friends are reading them now and it has changed their lives as well as mine! Shannon Fowler, North Augusta, SC

Karen, I have read many of your books but am just now reading "Where Yesterday Lives". As I read I thought I bet the Dad in this book is like Karen's. After reading the eulogy for your Dad, I know now I was right. It is a wonderful story (as all of yours are). Thanks for allowing the Lord to write His message through you. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Loretta Powell

It was a long book, reflecting on the anger and resentment of the siblings , although the end of the book ended with the answers and with the peace for all of the family members . I am just beginning to be an avid reader now of Karen Kingsbury , I have the time now to fill my quite time's with a story away from the norm of today's grind, I am blessed to find such a Great Christian Author ..

Karen Kingsbury has that wonderful and rare talent for making her readers truly care what happens to her characters. I found myself in a dilemma: I could not put the book down, yet I didn't want to read it too fast because I didn't want it to be over. Can't wait to read more of her work!

Once I started reading Where Yesterday Lives, I couldn't put it down. I was impressed by the way Kingsbury captured human emotion and struggle. The characters were so real I felt they were part of my family. I'd highy recommend this book. In fact, I'm going to call my best friend right now and tell her about it!

This book had a great mix of family situations; the good, the bad and the ugly. It also bring the past and future together nicely, helping everyone deal with the grief of losing someone. I also liked the very important, but low key way of bring religion into focus, without sounds preachy.
