One Chance Foundation Application
Thank you for inquiring about an adoption grant from Karen Kingsbury's One Chance Foundation.
The Foundation currently gives approximately 2 grants per month to those seeking financial help at the end of their adoption process. Funds for grants are raised by Karen’s faithful readers - both through online donations and through the sale of her books at her live events.
Subject to available funds, the following guidelines must be met to apply for a grant:
1. You must be working with a Christian adoption agency.
2. You must be able to provide us with your contact at the agency and a way to reach this person.
3. You must be within $5,000 of completing your fundraising for your adoption. We must be able to verify this through your agency.
4. You must each provide a statement of faith, showing your belief in Jesus Christ, and your commitment to raise your child or children with this belief.
If you meet these parameters, then please write back to office@KarenKingsbury.com and write ADOPTION GRANT FORM NEEDED in the subject line. The One Chance Foundation staff will do its best to email a response to you within 2 weeks. If we have an available grant at that time, we will send you the official application form. You would then fill out the forms and return them to us via email, please allow up to 6 weeks for us to respond with an answer regarding your possible grant.
