Lonna Favorite Book: The Baxter and Flanigan series all the books
I have been reading about the Baxters and Flannigan book after book. I have read them all now and can't wait for more to come in the future. This series is the most inspiring I have ever read and they have given me much thought about our God and his work in our lives. I love that you not only keep us connected with God but also educate us along the way whether it is about cancer and death, Alzheimer's, unfaithfulness, death of a child, or something else. Please keep inspiring us Karen. God Bless you for what you do!

This Side of Heaven, had me crying, laughing, and praying... I've never read a book that has touched me so emotionally before.. Karen, you NEED to keep on writing, no matter how sore your hands are or how much your brain is hurting..You want to know why? Because there aren't enough authors or people in this world like YOU!!
You've inspired me, and I'm definitely spreading the word over here in The Land of Oz! (: Keep going strong!

Josie (Thompsons Station) Favorite Book: Baxters/Bailey Flannigan
My husband and I started with the Baxters on audiobook for a couple of trips and fell in love with the whole family. We didn't want to stop driving! :) Then I started on the Bailey Flannigan series and would update my husband with what was happening with everyone. :) Now I just finished Coming Home, which by the way I couldn't put down. What a wonderful way to finish the series, although it was bittersweet. I cried many tears - tears of sadness and tears of joy. I love how you bring joy into the sadness. You have helped me move closer to Christ and learning to put HIM first in all my situations! You are an awesome writer and such an inspiration! What a terrific witness you are for Jesus!

Loretta J. (Shawnee, OK) Favorite Book: Ever After
Karen, I have read most of your books. I loved the Baxter family series along with Bailey Flannigan and every character in all those series. I have also read all of the 911 books. But I don't think ANY book has touched me like Even Now and especially Ever After. With Ever After the tears flowed so, I couldn't read. It was so profound. I couldn't believe you wrote it so quickly. God has greatly blessed you with writing talent. Your characters are so real to me. I look forward to your latest books all the time. May God continue to bless you.

Jan (Bellingham, Washington) Favorite Book: Between Sundays
I just finished reading my first book of yours, Between Sundays. After having read thoroughly two other Christian authors, I asked the librarian for advise. She pointed out your books, among others, and I'm happy I chose this book. I enjoyed your book for many reasons: it gave me a cardio workout (increased heart rate); cleaned out my tear ducts; extended my football season after watching the Seahawks lose their post-season game; and reminded me of our years as foster parents. I am excited to read more of your books. Thank you for your inspiring books!

I have just finished reading "Unlocked" and want to say Thank you so much for this book. I could hardly put it down, and I don't really consider myself a very faithful reader. However, once I start reading one of your books, I can't wait to get back to it if I have to stop reading to do my housework etc. Thank you for writing such inspiring books. Your books are paper blessings. I can't stop reading them. I think your books should be in the non-fiction section in bookstores because the characters and situations they go through are so real. And it's Christian? That's like, a gazillion home runs. God bless you and your family!!
Love,
Joslyn [your #1 fan, ask anyone :)]

Jan (Minnesota) Favorite Book: all of them
I love all your books. I feel I am part of the family, I get so absorbed when I am reading. I feel their joy and I feel their pain. I always look forward to the next book. Thank you so much. I want to share with you an email I received from my friend right after the tragedy at Newtown, CT: Sunday at 5am I was reading the last couple pages of SOMEDAY by Kingsbury…only because you suggested the series. The part where Ashley’s sister gives her a handmade ornament with Sarah’s name embroidered on it…for Christmas (the baby she lost) It started the ball rolling…I wanted to make 26 for the families in Connecticut but I do not know how to embroider….and would only have one week to Christmas. So I went to God with the idea…It was awesome, he help me raise $925 in just two hours at church yesterday. Things Remembered is engraving the names on Angels. The Fire Dept in the CT town has agreed this morning to distribute them to the families by working with the school board. Each Mom will have a beautiful angel with their loved ones name engraved as a reminder that they will see them again in heaven. And YOU should know it is due to your faith and influence on others! (me) Also $2 from each Angel is donated to the “Make a Wish foundation” by Things Remembered. You can look up the photo of the angel on their web site if you want to see it.
