Please pray for friend who is a single mom to 2 troubled children. They have psychological problems and are a real handful. she is about to get temporary custody of her sister's baby that is due to be born this week. the sister has done drugs; therefore the baby will have drug withdrawels. she will have to go to jail after the birth. my friend needs to find childcare for newborn and her own 2 children. Pray God provides a godly babysitter. the 2 kids can be manipulative and so they need the right childcare. my friend also doesn't get child support from her ex who refuses to work or be involved in his kids' lives. Pray for salvation for all. Pray God would provide exactly what this family needs during all these new changes/challenges. Pray how me and her other friends can help this friend.

My coworker just found out that his 10 month old son has retinoblastoma, a tumor on the retina of his eye. They don't know all the details yet, they have to go back to Emory on Monday for an MRI to see if the cancer is contained only to the eye or if it has spread. Please pray for good results from the MRI and for strength for Evan's mom & dad. They are great people and have total faith in God. Thank you in advance for the prayers!

My sister is in desperate need of prayer. She has been with her husband for five years and shortly after he became an alcoholic. They have a two year old and a five month old. I live my sister and nephews for than anything, and I hate what he is doing to them. Recently he has became abusive physically and emotionally and she ha tried everything to keep the family together bc she hates the thought of divorce. They just started the process of following through with the divorce, and my sister is very depressed and I'm afraid her faith in God is growing smaller day by day, even though our father is a minister. I just pray that she can get past the hurt of this divorce and not blame herself for it everyday. I pray that something will happen in her life that will encourage her to open her wart to God and let him take control. Thanks for the prayers!

I ask for prayer for me as Im just now allowing God into my life. I would also like to ask for prayer for my two sons 13 &11 as Im about to make a very inportant and life changing move for them. I know its going to hard for them but I feel God calling me to this. They have been living with my mom for the past 2 years because I moved 6 hours from my family and friend to be with a man that has changed my life at the time he was my boyfriend but now Im proud to be able call him my husband. Its going to take all I have to do this because I know how hard it is going to be for them to move away from my family and there friends. But I feel God telling me it is time for me to get MY family back together.

I am a 19 year old girl from South Africa. I am currently in the United States. I am staying with an American family for a year. I find it very difficult to connect with God since I have been here. I haven't found a church that I feel comfortable in. I have a difficult time praying and reading my Bible. The family I am staying with are not Christians. I am on my own and do not want to loose my relationship with God. Please pray that I can find a way to connect with God so far away from home. Thanks.

Please pray for my sister-in-law's 17 year old grandson and his family. He was involved in a car accident three days ago and has been on life support since. He has been declared brain dead. Many of his family are not Christians.

I have a church member who lost his full-time job and he's searching for another job. Please pray that God will open doors. A lady from my church is having problems with her pancreas. Please pray that God will heal her. I have recently been cut down to one day a week at work and may be laid off. As far as I know I'm still employed but I really need a job right now. I work at Hobby Lobby in Southlake Texas and all their stores in the DFW metroplex are suffering. Please pray that Jesus will turn things around. Thank you for your prayers and I hope that I'll get to hear back from you. My mom,dad and I love your books. I'm just going to have to PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS!!! Thank you for your prayers. My friend Reta has now been in the hospital for 34 days now because she has no liver function. Mayo Doctors are 98% sure this is because she took birth control for 38 years. She has build up of fluid in her abdominal area which has to be drained off and she is receiving kidney dialysis treatment 3 times a week.. Tests are now being done to check for cancer around her liver area and she is a candidate for a liver transplant depending on the outcome of the liver test. She is in a bad way. She is married and I work with her husband. He trys not worry and says its all in God's hands to keep his mind off worrying. Please pray for a good outcome in all this Lord willing. Reta is in her early 50's and she and her husband Mike will have been married two years this coming October..God Bless You Karen.

I'm 52 and about a year and a half ago, I started having a lot more trouble with my knees. I thought it might be a torn meniscus, but an MRI showed that I have severe arthritis in that knee. I don't have insurance and have had several cortisone shots in that knee as well as the other one, which I'm told has moderate arthritis. Last September I had scopes done of both knees. Meniscus tears were cleaned up in both knees and more cortisone was injected during surgery, which gave me relief for a couple of months. However, once the medicine wore off, the pain returned. I go to water classes at the local Y, but the pain has become unbearable. I walk with a cane and if I have to do a lot of walking (such as grocery shopping or attending conferences), I have to use a scooter or wheelchair. Last week I'm sure that God told me to begin "collecting my pots," like the widow that Elijah ministered to, who only had enough oil to make a meal for her and her son and then she'd die. Please pray that God will either heal my knees miraculously or provide a way for us to clean up $25,000 in medical bills so I can get some high risk insurance that will cover everything but about $8000 of knee replacements. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Last night, as you kow, my husband and I attened your event at CPA. What a deep and profound blessing it was to us. And hearing "Anthem Lights" for the first time was beyond amazing. Their songs touched me to the core. Thank you for your wonderful gift. I shall treasure it forever. My last prayer request was because I was feeling the depression settling in to it's oh so sadly familiar routine. I almost didnt attend last night because of how sad I was feeling, but GOD had other plans. I have a new heart set and I will heed yours and Kelsey's advice...and Don's too. You may never realize just how much the CPA event changed my emoiionally and Spiritual outlook....thank you. I wanted to ask you last night to keep a friend's son in your prayers, but my emotions got the best of me when we talked....so I shall post it here.....Patrick is the 23mo old son of our friend's Keith and Erin. He is their fourth child. 41 days ago they took him to the doctor for what they thought was "just a flu bug." Sadly it was more than that, it was a full fledged completely monstersized bug called cancer. He has been in the PICU at the Nashville Children's Hospital, things are going from bad to worst. He developed a fungus in his small intestines. God designed the small intestines to provide nutrients for our bodies, we can not live without them. The doctor's don't know if they have enough intestines to save. PLEASE pray fervently for sweet little Patrick, his Daddy Keith and Mommy Erin and his siblings, Isabella, Nathaniel and Aiden. They have a facebook page "Prayers for young Patrick F." which gives up-dates. I am humbled and touched by the faith and the trust in Jesus that Keith and Erin are showing during the darkest time in their lives. Thank you for being a prayer warrior.

Please pray for my friend. She's joining the army and would be shipped out in a few days. Please pray for her safety. I can't lose her. Also, please pray for another friend of mine, and her ex. She is going to be shipped out around the same time as my other friend. As for her ex, he was shipped out quite a long time ago. I don't really know him, but he's still her ex. Anyway, he means a lot to her still so please, please, pray for them. Thank you for praying for all of this.

Please pray for my friend as her husband left her for a younger woman even though she is young. Pray that God will help her get out of debt and give her wisdom with finances as she is struggling spiritually, physically and emotionally as a single parent.

Please pray for my ex son in law. He is 37 years old. My daughter was married to him for 8 years and they had no relationship. He has a lot of issues. His dad left when he was 3 and they had to move when the rent was due. His dad is an alcoholic and he started drinking a lot. He is a great person and I pray God will touch his heart and call him and change his life. It makes me so sad to see what is happening to him. We stay in contact with him and try to give him our support and encouragement but the drinking is destroying him. Pray that first he will find Gods love and find someone to love and share his life.

Our 20 year old daughter, Allison, has cerebral palsy. She's in a wheelchair, non-vebal, can't hold things in her hands - but you should see the sparkle in her eyes! Allison was in the hospital from January 15 - February 15 with ulcerative colitis. She was home for 13 days before being readmitted to the hospital on 15 liters of oxygen February 28. After being transferred to a bigger hospital Allison was intubated and placed on a vent. We were told to make her comfortable and let her go on 2/29 - but we prayed about it and knew God would tell us when it was time so we refused to give up. They tried to extubate her twice before placing a trach on 3/16. She remains in the hospital and continues to be on the vent, but is able to be off for a few hours at a time. We're hoping to bring her home in the near future. Although Allison doesn't 'talk' she tells you wonders with her eyes and by touching your hand to make choices. She kept looking up and to the left when she would open her eyes (even when sedated). Once she was able to 'talk' to me I asked if she was looking at her angels and she answered 'yes'. Once she was a little stronger I showed her a picture of Jesus and asked if he was with her angels to which she again answered 'yes' (3 times). Our prayer is that we get Allison home soon and she continues to get stronger. She has taught us so much and continues to do so. She surprised the doctors who cared for her and is an inspiration to us all.

There is a job in Andover (MUCH closer to my family!) that is very in line towards what I want to do and in an area where I would love to live and finally set down roots. Please pray that I get this job and soon. I'm tired of being laid off. THANK YOU SO MUCH! God BLESS!
