My husband and I are in process of adopting a baby girl from Vietnam, however, on September 1st adoptions between the US and Vietnam will shut down. Please pray that negotiations for a new contract will go quickly and the program will re-open so we and other families may bring our babies home!

Please pray for my sister. She had a breast biopsy yesterday, and it could either be mastitis, or it could be inflammatory breast cancer, which is a very aggressive cancer. I lost my Mom two years ago, and I couldn't bear to lose my closest sister so soon. Please pray for her to be healed.

I have a friend who's son has seizures and he has already had one surgery to try and stop the seizures but they have not stopped. They went to the doctor last week and he has to have surgery again. Please pray for this family as they have to deal with this situation.

Making the right decision on retiring after thirty-two years in a job I love. Pension program is seeing major changes especially with health insurance. I am single and will need to continue working. God has always provided for my needs and I pray He will open the door to another job.

There is a man in our church whose name is Jerry. We got a call that he is extremely sick. His blood pressure is 60 over 40 and they have found a spot on his lung. His wife is bedridden with Alzheimers and he takes care of her. He is emotional and physically exhausted. He needs a touch from God!

I am so thankful to have my brother. We never have been extremely close. He suffers from Cystic Fibrosis just Like Ali in "A Thousand Tomorrows". I also work with special needs children as a high school teacher. I am super excited about the upcoming movie and recognition of these lifestyles.

Last May, I was informed that my teaching position would change. Instead of teaching in one building I would be split between 2, 25 miles apart. While reading Summer, God helped me see that He is in control even when it is something that we don't want. The 25 miles will be a great prayer time.

My family was vacationing at Lake Monroe in Indiana and my oldest brother, Bryan Jackson, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Fairfax road July 24, 2008 while going to get groceries. We know he gave his life to Jesus at age 14 (he was 43). Please pray for his sons Braden 15 and Cody 10.

I had a hysterectomy and bladder sling last year. My bladder has not worked right since. I was sent to Mayo Clinic and had repair surgery in June. The surgery seemed to be a success at first, but now the bladder is not working right. Please pray that the Mayo doctor can help me, again.

We have another answered prayer! We will be able to see Dr. Reed on
July 15 at MUSC. The doctors have decided to do treatment first verses
surgery. We kinda thought that would be the protocol, but were not sure
until yesterday. We will begin hopefully on the 21st if all goes well
with the port Bobby will get at the end of next week. We will not know
until next week how long the treatments will be before surgery.

Again, we thank you for all the love and prayers that have been showered

A young 18-year old boy recently suffered a severe brain injury in a tragic car crash after driving 140 mph in a borrowed GTO on a narrow, hilly country road. This senseless tragedy could have been avoided. He is now recovering and in rehab. I hope he will use what he's learned to help others.

I would like your prayers for my son who is an alcoholic. He came out of treatment April 2nd and seems to be doing well so far but has battled this for a lot of years already. Also, pray for a wonderful Christian girl to come along and fill his life.

son. His son, Tye, was born 7 weeks premature and has been in serious
condition since his birth May 31st. I just spoke with my friend, Mark,
who is also a NC State Trooper and worked with Shawn. He informed me
that Tye was placed on life support this afternoon and is now very
critical. The NC Highway Patrol is asking everyone they can possibly
reach to please remember Shawn's son in your thoughts and prayers.

My dad recently had surgery to remove a cancer from his colon. 3 days after he returned home, he began bleeding internally, so he had to undergo another surgery.He's home now, but very weak and thin. Once he's stronger, he will have chemo. His heart is also weak & the chemo could damage it more.

My husband started a new job recently and something in him changed. He no longer wants to come to church with us and he even changed the way he talks. PLEASE pray that he will realize that something is wrong before it's too late.

My mom has been battling lung cancer and has had 6 chemo treatments. She says no more after this. She wants to spend her life with her best friend and enjoy it, not be tired so much. A friend has gone through some struggles in the last year. A few months after her marriage, she had a miscarriage. Several months later, she was pregnant again, and found out that the baby had trisomy 13. The baby lived a few days. Then her husband was in a wreck, and will never be the same. Thanks.
