Fallen Soldiers and Heroes

A Paris Marine was killed Thursday in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan Sgt. Jay M. Hoskins, 24, died August 6 while supporting combat operations in Farah province, Afghanistan. Hoskins was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, based out of Marine CorpsBase Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay. Three other Marines-- Lance Cpl. James D. Argentine, 22, of Farmingdale, N.Y., Lance Cpl. Travis T. Babine, 20, of San Antonio, Texas., Cpl. Christian A. Guzman Rivera, 21, of Homestead, Fla.—were also killed in the bombing. jay you will be truly missed and we will see you on the other side you will always have a place in the youth group.
