Fallen Soldiers and Heroes

Captain Michael S. Fielder, DVM, 35, of Holly Springs, N.C., died August 19, 2007 in Baghdad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 248th Medical Detachment, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 44th Medical Command, XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, N.C. Michael, first and foremost, was a wonderful and devoted husband, son, brother and friend. He was a veterinarian that absolutely loved his job and was quite a wonderful father to the soldiers he had. Michael could make anybody feel welcome and always had a joke handy when needed ~ with a twinkle in his eye... Thank you...
