Active Soldiers and Heroes

My son, Sgt. Ryan Markmann, is currently stationed in Afghanistan and has been since Feburary.  He is an Air Traffic Controller. He has a wife and a 16 month old baby boy waiting for him to come home.  He also has a 7 year old brother in Chicago that is so proud of his Big Brother.  My sister recently passed away and I believe that she will be Ryan's "special angel" in heaven. She will watch over him while he is serving our country. Knowing that she is in heaven protecting him, I feel that he will be fine and return home to his family.  Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers along with all the other service men and women serving our country.
